Let Go is a mobile application designed to support mental well-being. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are.

Data We Collect

• Account: email address and first name, provided via Google or Apple during sign-in.
• Thoughts and reframes: the text you submit and the generated responses. This data is treated with an enhanced level of protection.
• Preferences: language, theme, favorites, notifications.
• Technical data: anonymized identifier, app version, operating system.

Legal Basis for Processing

• Performance of contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR): processing your thoughts to provide the service.
• Consent (Art. 6.1.a): notifications, AI data processing.
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f): service security.

How We Use Your Data

• Provide the service: generate personalized perspective shifts.
• Personalize your experience: language, theme, affirmations.
• Improve the app by analyzing feature usage anonymously.
• Ensure service security.

Artificial Intelligence Processing

Your thoughts are sent anonymously to artificial intelligence services (Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini) through our secure server to generate reframes. No personal information — such as your name, email, or account — is shared with these services. Your thoughts:

• Are transmitted encrypted between your phone, our server, and the AI service.
• Are sent anonymously — only the text of your thought and your language preference are transmitted.
• Are never shared with third-party AI providers for training their models.
• May be used in anonymized form to improve our own service.
• Are never sent directly from your phone.

The app requests your explicit consent before sending any thought to AI services. You can review this information at any time in the app's Settings under "Data & AI".

Storage and Security

Your data is stored in a secure database with encryption at rest and in transit. Each user can only access their own data.

Third-Party Services

We use the following providers:

• Supabase — authentication, database
• Anthropic — reframe generation
• Google Gemini — backup service
• Voyage AI — semantic analysis
• RevenueCat — subscription management
• Upstash — security

International Transfers

Some providers are located in the United States (Anthropic, Google, Voyage AI). These transfers are governed by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

Data Retention

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. Deleting your account results in the immediate and permanent deletion of all your personal data.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, port, and object to the processing of your data. You can delete your account from the app settings.

Minors

The app is not intended for users under 16 years of age.

Changes
